Where can I find a decent comics message board?

Question by Paul C: Where can I find a decent comics message board?
I’ve found the comics message boards that I’ve posted on so far (the official DC Boards for example) to be filled with people complaining that comics aren’t like they were whenever they started reading them. They’re also filled with a ludicrous amount of bile directed at certain comics creators and staff. Is this the case on all boards or is there a nice one out there? I don’t get a lot of chance to discuss comics in the non-internet world.

I don’t post there much anymore, but I did post at comicscorral.com for a while. Lots of nice and friendly people, but they seem to aim more at older comics than new.

Question by -_- nope: How long are comics available once they come out?
I recently went to the comic book store because I’m trying to get into comics but every one of the issues I was looking for they didn’t have. And it was pure hell finding them online. So my question is, about how long does a certain issue stay in a comic book store? I mean how long do they restock the book?

Normally you have to special order another comic if a customer is looking for it. If i were you I would buy the trade paperbacks of the comic book that i wanted to read.

How do I buy physical copies of comics online?

Question by shall328: How do I buy physical copies of comics online?
I know this is probably a stupid question. I want to get into comics in September with DC renumbering their series. I don’t have a comic book store or book store anywhere near me. So, I want to buy the actual comics and have them delivered to me, but I can’t seem to figure out how. I can’t find a way to buy either a single comic or a year of comics on the DC site. Any idea how I can?

I’d look on a book store’s website and see if they carry the series. As far as I know, all book store websites deliver to personal homes, so I’d try any one you can think of. I’d suggest Barnes & Noble or Borders.

Question by Becca: What are some comics that are good for younger readers?
My little brother is turning 10 this week, and I was hoping to get him some comics. I know a little about comics, but I don’t really read ones that I think would be good for him. I want to know of comics which aren’t designed for young children, but still aren’t inappropriate for kids his age. He’s at the age where he thinks he’s a big kid, so I want this gift to reflect that. Any ideas?

Hey ♫

I think you can use E-bay or even Amazon or Google. XD

E-bay and Amazon are both good places to sell and buy objects.
But I think you have to make you’re own account but it doesn’t take long. ★

Thank you very much!
