This umbrella symbolizes quietness and peace, at least for me. Some precious attributes I don’t have these days due to my thesis I write. I hate writing!

If only such an umbrella would come and free me… That would be great.

But I know, and you maybe better, as most of you are older than me: No professional was born like he is at the moment. We all have to learn a lot… Haven’t we?

In fact it was free to get into the Imperial Palace gardens, etc.

These are the streets of Akihabara… I think this is Chuo street, but I am not sure. In any case, there are tons of stores, arcades, etc. on each side of the road.

Akihabara is a special district in Tokyo that is now as famous for the anime/manga/gaming culture that exists there as it is for electronic goods. The electronic stores there are numerous–the Yodobashi Camera there, for example, is huge. Also, this is where one can find maid cafes, and interesting phenomenon where otaku boys and girls can co-exist in a robotic alternate universe… For a small fee, of course.

Manga and Anime

I was looking through my "to buy" lists, which contain items I added eight years ago. Many items cannot be found anymore.

So I decided to start buying items from my "to buy" lists.

This is the first batch. Still waiting for "Shugo Chara" volume one (back-ordered!) and some other Zeldas (back-ordered!)

The K-On! anime looked like I might find it nice to watch, but it’s just too expensive right now, so I’m going with the comic for now. I started reading it, and it might be interesting. I find Yui and Ritsu similar in appearance and personality, but I’m sure I’ll be able to tell them apart soon enough. I’ve only read so far as getting the club together.

one of the manga kissa at shibuya, located on the 6th floor of a entertainment building. for about 3€/hour you are allowed to use a smalll confortable cubicle to surf, watch dvds and read books you can get at the big manga-library.
